abstract

traceability is a basic requirement for the most of products from the viewpoint of governments and customers. it has base of quality systems and supports integration of supply chain information systems. this paper has presented a holistic model for supply chain traceability through structural equation modeling. this model will support recall of products, quality assurance requirements, improve the flow of information, cross supply chain interactions, and optimizing materials/products flow in supply chains. it has been deep thinking research method to present a comprehensive view of integrated traceability objects in supply chain level. in addition it has been focused largely on published case studies about traceability in different industries too. by using of operational managers opinion as main users of system and information system developers, the formulation of a general set of requirements and a general modeling solution for information system development is provided.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Conceptual Modeling of the Internet of Things Implementation in Hospitals Supply Chain

Given the complexities of supply chain networks, the firms consider modern technologies as a potential factor to improve their supply chain performances. One of these technologies is the Internet of Things (IoT). Hence, the main purpose of this study has been to achieve the conceptual model of the IoT implementation in hospital supply chains. Considering the qualitative nature of the study, rel...

A ROBUST OPTIMIZATION MODEL FOR BLOOD SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK DESIGN

The eternal need for humans' blood as a critical commodity makes the healthcare systems attempt to provide efficient blood supply chains (BSCs) by which the requirements are satisfied at the maximum level. To have an efficient supply of blood, an appropriate planning for blood supply chain is a challenge which requires more attention. In this paper, we address a mixed integer linear programming...

Model Based Design approach for Implementation of PHEV Energy Management

Hardware implementation of the Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) control strategy is an important stage of the development of the vehicle electric control unit (ECU). This paper introduces Model-Based Design (MBD) approach for implementation of PHEV energy management. Based on this approach, implementation of the control algorithm on an electronic hardware is performed using automatic co...
